My Story

Bea completed their undergraduate degree in Literature and Rhetoric at Chapman University, earning the Outstanding Student Award for their use of Baudrillard's Simulacra in explicating gender performances on and off the Shakespearean stage. Their work focuses on the construction of identity through media and the commodification of identities. Bea earned their Master's in Women, Gender, and Sexuality studies, further cementing their passion for feminist research and action. Bea strives to center the most marginalized and oppressed in their research and application, as no one is liberated until everyone is liberated.

As an artist, Bea is drawn to replicable expressions (a Baudrillard fan through and through), they are constantly experimenting with medium and style. Bea loves to play board games with friends (especially Dungeons & Dragons) and connecting with nature.
